As we mentioned in a previous review, Galway’s Slyrydes don’t mess around. With a bold sound, they released their first five singles between March 2019 and March 2020, garnering critical acclaim nationwide and in the UK along the way. Today they return with a tasty new track, ‘Boy in the Debs Suit’.
In 2020, against many odds, Slyrydes managed to record their debut album; “We managed to get into Dan (Doherty) in Darklands in between lockdowns in September 2020. I think it was a mixture of luck and sheer determination”
‘Boy in the Debs Suit‘ is one of the songs off their debut. Speaking about the song and upcoming album, the band says, “We definitely didn’t write the same song 12 times, which made it so difficult to pick a new single. We cannot wait to share this album with the world.”
‘Boy in the Debs Suit‘ is out now, with that debut album to come later in the year.
