Brí releases ‘If I Wasn’t Scared’ from upcoming debut album

Ahead of the release of her debut album Hide, Irish indie-pop artist Brí has released her fifth single, ‘If I Wasn’t Scared’.

An Offaly native, Brí has already released four singles from her upcoming album: ‘Low Supply’, ‘Polite’, ‘Burying’ and ‘More Than’. While the success of these singles has helped her sell-out her Whelan’s headline show, ‘If I Wasn’t Scared‘ reaffirms her talent.

Speaking about ‘If I Wasn’t Scared’, Brí says, “‘If I Wasn’t Scared’ assumes a man’s perspective of a relationship as he struggles to balance his feelings with a ‘tough guy’ image, particularly among ‘the boys’. It is a toxic masculinity tale that strips back cold layers of indifference and questions the fear that it uncovers.”

Brí’s debut album Hide is scheduled for release in October and to keep up with her news and music, follow Brí on Instagram, Facebook, and Spotify.
