Vampire Weekend’s Ezra Koenig recently announced that the band will be releasing a new album titled FOTB. For all the Vampire Weekend fans out there, including myself, this is super exciting news! It will be their first release in six years, a fact Koenig addressed in his Instagram post announcing the album, “I know that 5-6 years is considered a long time between records. Personally, I think it’s a dignified pace befitting a band that’s already placed three albums in stores but everyone has their own sense of time.”
Two tracks are due to be released this week so be sure to keep an eye on the charts!
