New Jackson Shares Latest Single “I Wanna Be Adored”

New Jackson is edging closer to the release of his long-awaited follow-up to 2017’s From Night To Night, with its successor OOPS!… POP out on April 19th, 2024, via Permanent Vacation.

Speaking of the new track, New Jackson, aka David Kitt, says: There’s a real magic and elegance to the melodic interplay between Ian Brown, John Squire, and Mani on the Stone Roses’ “I Wanna Be Adored” that I thought would really suit a New Jackson synthesizer treatment. It was a lot of fun to make.”

“I’ve been playing it live since the end of last year’s summer festivals and the reaction has been great, people slowly figuring out what it is and all joining in by the end really adds to how it builds. It’s a perfect dancefloor song in many ways.”

OOPS!… POP by New Jackson is out April 19th, 2024, and is available for pre-order on Bandcamp. Also out in the coming weeks is a reissue of David Kitt’s 2006 release Not Fade Away, featuring 8 tracks from the original record lovingly remastered, a re-recording of “Say No More”, and a brand new song “Love Someone Else” featuring the amazing Niamh Regan.
