The facts are these: Sheep is a three-piece from Wicklow and “Terms of Surrender” is their first single.
The band has stated that their influences range from grunge to noise to post-punk and these genres are finely balanced on “Terms of Surrender”.
Bravely releasing a six-minute single as their debut, the band has said that “Terms of Surrender” is “…about Irish partition and the long-lasting effects it’s had on this country. The lyrics depict Anglo-Irish relations as a sick twisted relationship that’s ending in separation with the North being some awkward middle child that’s torn between its home.”
