Junk Drawer maintain momentum on ‘Railroad King’

‘Railroad King’ is the new single by Belfast-based art-rock four-piece Junk Drawer. Following on from ‘Tears In Costa’, it’s the second single from their upcoming EP, The Dust Has Come To Stay.

Reminiscent of the legendary Television, ‘Railroad King’ certainly owes much to bygone days. It’s crisp yet jangly, dancey but not over the top. It’s a song you think you’ve heard before and are delighted to rediscover. It’s a song you stick on repeat.

Speaking about the new single, writer Jake Lennox said, “It’s about not wanting to be away from the public world, adventuring happily with my imagination; walking by myself and making up songs.”

Railroad King‘ is out now and you can watch the brilliant music video below.

New EP The Dust Has Come To Stay is out March 11th via Art For Blind Records and can be pre-ordered here.
