Purveyor of rock-pop grunge Lauren Ann has today released a new single, “When The Party Ends”.
Recorded in the autumn of 2023 with producer Rocky O’Reilly in Belfast’s Start Together Studios, “When The Party Ends” is a song that expands on Lauren Ann’s burgeoning yet impressive catalogue. Her journey to date has seen her take up support slots with the likes of Tom Grennan, NewDad, Sprints and Twin Atlantic, while her singles have received praise from Atwood Magazine, EARMILK, and many more.
The third single released off her upcoming debut EP Devour, Lauren Ann describes “When The Party Ends” as a song “… about being around someone who is so full of pride. They never think of how their own actions impact others, making everyone around them feel like they aren’t good enough for them.” Citing influences like Nirvana, Pixies and The Cure, you might even hear a little Avril Lavigne on “When The Party Ends”…
