Cormac Russell may be the most prolific person in music today. Since 2019, the Canadian-born, Ireland-raised artist has released seven albums. Ahead of this upcoming eighth album, he has teased a new song, “Noah”.
Drawing on influences such as Neil Young and Bob Dylan, as well as literary giants W.B Yeats and James Joyce, Cormac Russell has forged a distinctive, diverse sound.
To celebrate the release of his upcoming eighth album, The Water Came Rushing (out October 18th), on which Cormac Russell plays all instruments, we’re treated to “Noah”, a bullish song made up of abrasive yet melodic guitar and pulsing drums.
