Spilt Milk announces programme featuring Moundabout, Elaine Howley, Natalia Beylis and more

Spilt Milk, Sligo’s annual festival of music, art, and film, returns this November with an exciting line-up.

Taking place within the unique settings of The Model, Sligo between November 17-19, the festival will feature 20 performances and events encompassing experimental, electronic, and folk artists including Moundabout, Elaine Howley, Natalia Beylis, Cáit and Rising Damp. There will also be art installations, screenings, and workshops aplenty.

The ‘Junior Jam’ also returns this year. Comprising of a workshop and concert, this special event introduces young people and their families to experimental music with a gig of their own in a safe and fun environment.

Speaking on the launch of the programme, Emer McGarry, Director at The Model, says: “The Model is really pleased to commission the fifth edition of the Spilt Milk Festival, a unique three-day event that brings artists and audiences for alternative and independent music, film and art together in the relaxed and informal setting of The Model. The festival shines the light of creativity and community into the dark days of November and offers an array of gigs and events for people of all ages. Together with Binder, we can’t wait to present it to the people of Sligo, the Northwest and further afield this year.”

Dany and Edel of Binder, festival curators, added: “Binder is delighted to welcome inquisitive minds and adventurous souls back to Sligo for the Fifth edition of Spilt Milk Festival. We are thrilled to again receive the continued backing of The Model and its dedicated staff for this year’s festival. We look forward to delivering another delectable and diverse lineup of artists and events to light up a dark November weekend in the North West.”
