“the slab” is the latest single from Slowdive’s upcoming album Everything Is Alive.
Everything Is Alive, Slowdive’s fifth album, is out September 1st via Dead Oceans. The band has already released two excellent songs from the album, “kisses” and “skin in the game”.
Speaking about “the slab“, singer/guitarist Neil Halstead said that it’s “the heaviest on the record and as the name suggests we wanted it to feel like a big slab of music. We wanted it to feel very dense.”
