Sounds from a Safe Harbour adds new acts to 2023 line-up

Sounds from a Safe Harbour (SFSH), the biennial festival founded in 2015, returns to Cork with a spectacular line-up from Thursday, September 7th to the 10th.

Curated by Festival Director Mary Hickson, actor Cillian Murphy, playwright Enda Walsh and Aaron and Bryce Dessner of The National, SFSH offers something for everyone. The latest artists set to perform include poet/singer-songwriter Kara Jackson, indie rocker Indigo Sparke, folk duo Memorial and Crash Ensemble with violinist Diamanda La Berge Dramm.

Taking place in various venues throughout Cork City, the festival has grown to join the ranks of the Jazz Festival and Live at the Marquee.

Previously announced acts include Feist whose most recent album Multitudes received much critical acclaim, Bonny Light Horseman (first appearance on these shores) with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra and legends Wilco with support from the enchanting Anna Mieke.

Ye Vagabonds will close out the festival with Lighthouse Constellations. SFSH, in partnership with Teaċ Daṁsa and the Gate Theatre, also brings the highly acclaimed How to Be a Dancer in Seventy-two Thousand Easy Lessons to The Everyman.
