Bleeding Heart Pigeons have just released one of my favourite tracks of the year.
“Real Connection” is the Limerick three-piece’s first release from their upcoming album Stir which was also announced today. The album sets in motion a new direction for the band, having taken the independent approach to recording and releasing music following their major-label journey.
The new album also promises to bring a fresh sound to that of their brilliant debut Is, as the band “integrate their lush sonic sensibilities and existential lyrics with increasingly refined pop song-structures.”
If “Real Connection” is to lead the way for what’s to come, then it’s time to get excited about Stir.
