Junk Drawer: Temporary Day

Northern Ireland Music Award winners Junk Drawer have released their new single, “Temporary Day”.

A song which discusses co-lyricist Jake Lennox’s struggles with sexual identity and eating disorders, it’s set against a motorik beat with overlaying psychedelic and post-punk sounds.

A means of catharsis no doubt, Jake described the song as:

“Temporary Day’ is about having a temporary day of relief from all the horrible feelings I usually have. The fog ascends briefly and I can think clearly for a time.”

Junk Drawer will also release their debut album Ready For The House on April 24th via Art For Blind records.
